How to Analyse Any Hit
Every hit you love can be taken apart in five steps. Learn them once, and use them on any song.
In this lesson you'll
- Learn the five step method.
- Watch it crack Hotel California and Wonderwall.
- Use it on a song of your choice.
Remember
Always find home first. Every other answer depends on it.
Numerals and motion show the skeleton: roots moving by fifths or steps, and notes that stay.
Colour notes and the big picture explain the feeling. That's where the secret hides.
